List Description

This list, like all the other "Usage" lists, will change over time as ascents are entered into the Peakbagger.com database. This list is automatically recalculated once a day, so a completion of all these peaks is a moving target that may be frustrating for a climber.

This list shows, for each peak, the number or ascents where the "Rope" gear check-box was checked for an ascent. Of all the gear/route icons, this one seemed to be the most indicative of challenging climbing, since it could be used for rock, snow, ice, and glacier routes. Of course, not all registered users of Peakbagger.com use the gear icons when entering data, so this list is not statistically sound. But this list does give some indication of popular peaks that involve some technical climbing.
