5-18-2009 : I opened my account today.
I am just getting back into hiking after many years away from this wonderful sport. In my youth I hiked extensively in the Adirondack Mountains, mainly in the Old Forge N.Y. area (with A.W.C.!), and in the Green Mountains of Vermont. I live in the Adirondack Mountains, in the Lake George N.Y. region.
I have a trip planned, later this month, from The Garden in Keene Valley to the summit of Mt. Marcy. I will document the results of this trip soon. Wish me luck!
