Ascent Trip Report

This is a beautiful hike and an amazing peak, offering spectacular views of the Black Hills. I did this hike in the middle of a long road trip from Colorado to Michigan and hit this just before dark. I didn't get quite as much time on the summit as I would have liked as I had to race the daylight to get down before dark. I was the only one on the trail.
