Ascent Trip Report

We drove up to the Sinbad meadows. The road is in great shape. I hiked to the summit from there, and then met the group down at the fossil quarries after my hike, which added some mileage to the end. A rainstorm rolled in as I hit the summit, so I hurried off of there after a few seconds to take a video and sign the log. Some hail hit, but apparently the rain fell much harder down by the quarries than it did on the peak. Views were excellent. Bushwhacking was pretty terrible. I am glad I had a thick long sleeved shirt and jeans on for this one. Otherwise, I would have been bleeding from many scrapes for sure.
