Ascent Trip Report

Rainy day and got up late so didn't want to do anything too big. Drove up a rough/rocky yet road (my poor sedan) a couple hundred meters to get up to the power lines. Took the ridge as recommended by Greg Slayden. My jacket doesn't seem to be waterproof anymore and I lost my umbrella enroute (on the way up it was too windy anyway) so got pretty cold. Temperature was probably around 40 F with wind at times. An inch or two of snow on the ground briefly (couple hundred meters). Fortunately the rain died down after I left the top and eventually stopped as I got back to the car, most of clothes were soaked by that time. Put the heater on full blast until Issaquah! Good to get out and get exercise.
