Ascent Trip Report

***Solo Hike

Stats: 3 mi RT, +1600' gain

Was supposed to do HPS Hike to Owens Peak (8,453') led by Ted Lubeshkoff and Bill Simpson but unfortunately I went to the wrong Historical Marker. I went to #99 (Walker Pass) instead of #1?? (Freemont Junction).

Ended up doing Five Fingers...completely winged route. Started from "Owens Peak Wilderness" Sign staging area and via, trial and error, made my way to the Fifth finger.
