Ascent Trip Report

With Mountaineers. Split into 2 groups and traded cars. Half the group drove to the Mt Pilchuck trailhead and headed up that route. The other half drove to the Bear Lake trailhead and headed up that way. We met towards the eastern end of the bathtub lakes and exchanged keys. A fun scramble along the ridgeline. If you were to do this traverse, I would say going West to East is the better route as this way most of the ascent is on good trails and earlier in the day when you're fresh.

Saw a little of everything, rain, hail, rain wanting to turn to snow...

Just over 90 minutes from car to fire lookout. It was so wet out I didn't pull my phone out again.
