Ascent Trip Report

So stupid of me. Came all the way to Plumas County and drove to the top of Mount Ingalls with Kath Giel and them realized as I opened my beat up Gary Suttle California County Summit book that I was there April 15th, 2011 with Kath. I know we should have done Freel Peak instead for our Fall hike.

Okay here is how we did it this time. Started at Lake Davis where we camped. Lots of camping spots both at the lake and on a multitude of side roads. Used two devices to make it to the top in my Overland 4x4 Grand Cherokee. Both the in car GPS and inReady topo maps were required as the roads to the top were confusing. In fact to make it to the top we took a road so bad it scratch up my car - if I cared it would have sucked. Was totally in in maintain brambles that were un-passible without barreling thought them. Stay away from the Ingalls spur road!

Back down was much better. Pictures attached
