While walking up through the forest there was thunder and lightning. By the time we got to Owhigh Lakes the rain and weather had stopped. A little past the lakes took the turnoff heading uphill. This deposited us on an alpine meadow of wildflowers. We dispersed and headed through the wildflowers to the saddle. Followed the ridge a short distance to the summit. The scrambling difficulty was pretty low. Summitted in the sun with nice views of Rainier.
