Ascent Trip Report

On HPS trip led by Peter and Ignacia Doggett, attempting to visit all seven 10k+ peaks plus Cornell from the tram. Got the first tram up at 8:30 am, and climbed to Cornell via the Sid Davis drainage and Tamarack valley. Back down to Tamarack valley, and up to the main trail via a good steep use trail that parallels the old San Jacinto trail. Then the San Jacinto trail to Miller peak and straight up to the San Jacinto summit. Went down the northwest ridge of San J and up to Folly peak. From Folly, we contoured south to the saddle to Drury peak and up to the summit. The key is to stay high until you are right above the saddle. We made good time on this leg. Photos:
