Ascent Trip ReportNE Over 40 Hiking Meetup Group
Mostly cloudy, some spots of sunshine here and there. Snow precipitation early in the morning at start of hike.....also had ice on the wildcat ridge trail.
Stayed in Carter Notch Hut the night before. Temperature cold at night...down to the teens. They shut the water off at hut due to freezing temperatures.
Descended via Ski trails because we heard reports that the slabs and ledges from summit down to trailheard were very slippery and icy
