Ascent of Snowy Mountain on 2009-09-16| Date: | Wednesday, September 16, 2009 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Snowy Mountain | | Location: | USA-New York | | Elevation: | 3898 ft / 1188 m |
Ascent Trip ReportNice blood -pumping hike. Wasn't as challenging as I expected from TR's and books, however my legs were pretty stiff in the evening from the steep incline/decline toward the top. I thought Mt Adams was much tougher than Snowy Mt. Nice weather, met some interesting hikers along the way. Beautiful views of Indian Lake, well worth the hike.
