Ascent Trip Report

Coming just a few days after getting up Mt. Chephren, another fantastic scramble in the long and hot summer of 98'. A party of four of us summitted Niblock on a clear, sunny day. Difficulties were minor; this is still a relatively challenging peak, or can be (in snowy conditions) but one gets the benefit of a well-trodden route and lots of people heading up on nice days like this one.
Excellent summit views, fun scrambling along portions of summit ridge. Went and investigated the option of climbing Mt. Whyte and decided we did not want to die that day (!)
Highly recommended, amongst the CDN Rockies day trips.
