Ascent Trip Report

Finally summitted on Temple, after a previous aborted attempt.
The day was long and adventurous, owing to a sudden shift in weather and early season snow, a squall in fact. On the descent via the normal route, we faced near-white out conditions on the summit ridge.
Mt.Temple is the easiest of the 11,000-footers in CDN Rockies but it is still a big day out. The only technical scrambling occurs in the chimney section, and the summit cone had some icy snow which provided me with an excuse to bring the ice axe.
Trip completed with Chris Harfman, plus four people we'd encountered on the hike up.
