Ascent Trip ReportHiked from Lakes Hut to Madison hiking over Mount Jefferson on way. Took Six Husbands Trail from Gulfside Trail, then back down North side of mountain towards Madison Hut. Got caught in thunderstorm and small hale storm (with lightning of course) right at crag of Thunderstorm Junction. It was a bit scary at the time and I got cover and took off quickly across western face of Adams in about 2 minutes. Got to junction of short line and Gulfside and storm had passed. Typical wacky weather up there. Although this time it was a bit nerve raking with lightening close by (1-3 Miles). Hit Madison that afternoon too as a quick 1.0M loop just in case we went down a different route than Osgood Trail.
