Ascent Trip Report

On the map, two trails start from within a half-mile of one another along the main (Walnut Creek) road. We started at the eastern one, but in retrospect, the western one is larger with better parking and a more distinct trail.

The hike to Bull Spring is easy, then it gets steep as the trail gets atop the rim. We visited the western bump first, then the east.

Lots of juniper (surprise), pinon, some oak, and sections of ponderosa. Lovely hike, rarely visited.
