The Saugerties Lighthouse is an 1869 landmark beacon on the Hudson River, a Living Museum and renowned Bed & Breakfast, most enjoyably reached with boardwalks by a sandy, tidal flat trail eventually opening onto the middle of the Hudson River at a small island just past the Lighthouse, also known as Saugerties Light and National Historic Light Station.
