Ascent Trip Report

Did the 'new trail', 6.4mi vs 5 with the old trail. Very nice views of danamora windmill fields, montreal and high peaks to south. Good weather, not many bugs. Met a few people on the trail from quebec. They complained that the new trail was too long and winding. It indeed was winding. The old trail is still accessible and looked well traveled and more direct, but more steep and a bit blood-pumping.
