Ascent Trip Report

We hiked the entire Coosa Backcountry in 8 hours. It was very cold but beautiful and I was not in good enough shape for this but did it anyway. Climbing Slaughter Mountain after having hiked about 8 miles was very strenuous for me but totally worth it, didn't realize until much later that we only got the north summit. I will go back for south summit in winter again due to willingness to avoid any snakes. I also did not get elevation info on this GPS yet.
