Ascent Trip Report

Day started out great, but clouds rolled in and out. Wore new socks and got a silver dollar sized blister on my heel about two miles in. Good thing it's only about 7 1/2 miles one way! The blister slowed me down a lot. Once we got pass tin can gap clouds pulled back away and the sun shine was nice. We got to the cabin, where we were planning on camping over night and there was a couple up there and a few more behind us. We thought we'd be the only ones up there, but apparently the cabin can sleep at least nine. Cold night but beautiful. Left early morning and back in time for lunch. Should have brought crampons and ice axe.
