Ascent Trip Report

My last few days exploration of a slew of biking trails from Blatnick Park to beyond the John F. Brown Trail System into the Mohawk River State Park Trail System will allow me to connect Blatnick Hill with its Mohawk River view to the Nature Conservancy owned Lisha Kill Preserve, a 2.3 mile lightly trafficked loop trail traversing a rare example of old growth forest in a developed area with some of the trees (Eastern white pine and Eastern hemlock) estimated to be well over 200 years old.
