Ascent Trip Report

(Postscript: my 4-25-18 trip report has better directions up this peak, tho' it follows my GPS route below) For this trip, I parked on Zinfandel near a driveway whose house had a for-sale sign without any apparent occupants, walked across the street, and went up a steep, tree-fall ridden slope to the dirt road above, which led to a microwave tower next to the high point. There was once a house a few feet away from the tower on top, but all that's left is the foundation and a chimney. The easiest walk up from this side is, as usual, how I got down, going up from the intersection of Nettleton Rd and Cardinal Dr. Don't try this peak when the roads may be icy in winter, since the drive up the paved road to the intersection is very steep. I've picked up my son from a friend who lived up here a few times, eventually deciding to not risk it again whenever it rains/snows in winter.
