Ascent Trip Report

A pretty big day on the Big Sister.
This peak is not particularly technical but is still a challenge in terms of having to find a feasible route up a system of slabs and gullies. On descent, some of these places are harder than en route up.
In addition, the very top of the peak presents a move around a gendarme (kind of like Mt. Baldy). Some snow patches made it necessary to wield my ice axe and kick a few steps.
