Ascent Trip Report

Fun day out in the sun! 10:30 start. 2.5 hours to the base of the route. 2(ish) hours up. Lazy summit. 2(ish) hours down. < 2 hours back to the car.

There was still plenty of snow on the trail past the first stream. A few blowdowns too. Except for a few minor rock bits in the basin beneath chair the route was fully in snow, which meant for some fun glissading down pineapple pass.

We cut into the route and started up the gulleys too soon. Added a fun scramble / open-book pitch to the climb.

Minor high clouds, sunny day, and good snow.
