Ascent Trip Report

High point of Gozo.

Track just NW of road junction quickly becomes path along edge of fields with crops. Permission to continue to summit readily granted by friendly local watering crops. Upper slopes appear no longer farmed, today a mass of yellow Bermuda Buttercups. Pleasant summit with limestone breaking through and small cairn. Excellent view point. Descent on good path to SW arriving on dirt track by building under construction, turning right along track reaches Triq Ir-Rokon (road name on building at junction).

There's an excellent coastal path with very fine views from Dwejra Bay to Mgarr ferry port. The path needs a little finding in places and access when we were there wasn't a problem. But.. we were told the cliff top is popular with hunters during bird migration season!
