Ascent Trip Reportwe hiked the edmands path into the dense fog on eisenhower... it traveled with us all day.
...as we hiked on over franklin and monroe the dense fod clung close to our clothing with it's mists and self-contained sense of isolation... mostly view-less except for our feet and the rocks and the cairns... with only occasional lifts for quick views... very mythical and mysterious.
we bugged-off climbing washington by using the westside trail... and on the crags of jefferson there was a spectacular break in the clouds below us as we sat crouched for warmth among the stones of jefferson... resting for our descent down the caps of ridge trail.
very special day in unusually envigorating conditions during the 14 miles
