Ascent Trip Reportfirst peak climbed as a 10 yr old
with family... and dave reed
this peak is very accessible to any age climber
offers a fine base lodge - excellent trails - solid scramble over bare rock above tree line - exposed in the last 1/4 mile to peak - plus there's a beautiful 360° view and'a fire tower.
great introduction to climbing mountains.
been up it at least 11 times now... done as camp day hikes... family gatherings and ushering new hikers of youngsters and friends.
