Ascent Trip Report

After I ran a LiDAR analysis on this county, this one has become a gimme. The southern point of the two won out, not surprisingly seeing as it started at 1385' with 5' contours rather than 1380' with 10' contours, and is just off of a roadside. We parked on P35 south of Blair where it makes a 90+ degree turn while cresting the bluff. Cars drive fast up here and the road doesn't have good visibility, so be sure to get out of the way as much as possible. The top was in tall grass just inches from someone's mowed lawn, 30' from the pavement.

LiDAR results:
Washington County: Two Areas 1385’+ and 1380’+

N41.51415 W96.12268 -Winner
Area 2: 1382.74’
