Ascent Trip Reporttrail well-packed; we left the snowshoes in the car. should have stopped to get out the microspikes earlier i did.
this is the best tower, by far, that i've visited in NH. made of wood, no space-station-like protrusions, cabin was open!! with a table inside (we signed into the log book), upright- instead of trap-door and a wrap-around deck. would be a nice place to spend a night. lots of other hikers, a couple of dogs. wish Delilah had been with us.
Daniella and i chatted at a coffeeshop afterward and then parted ways.
i stopped at Moat Mountain brewpub on my way to the Maine Roadhouse.
