Ascent Trip Report

This was a drive up to the mountain summit through the Cummings Ranch. I work for the Kern County Fire Department. During this time I was assigned to the Stallion Springs Station and we responed to a possible lightning fire on the south side of the mountain, on the Tejon Ranch. We drove the fire engine up to the summit and hiked about a quarter mile down the south side of the mountain looking for smokes. We found no smokes. There were a lot of deer sighted during the drive up. We obtained permission from Mr. Steve Cummings prior to starting our drive up because this is private property. I'm not to sure of the day of the summit, However I logged this event into the fire station logbook with an incident report to verify.
