Conditions overcast as we began the hike eventually hiking into the cloud and whiteout conditions. Visibility limited to 20 ft in any direction. Set up camp in relatively flat spot at approximately 6500 ft of elevation. Just as we were crawling into the tent clouds parted for a second and we glimpsed Shuksans summit pyramid. On awakening the next morning the stars were out and clouds gone. As the sky lightened we could see the clouds below at about 5000 ft. The summit pyramid was still encased in clouds as well. By the time we made it to the base of the summit pyramid the clouds were dissipating and the summit became visible. Successful summit in bluebird conditions. We were the only ones on the mountain as the forecast must have scared the other climbers away. Two rappels and a little down climbing got us off the summit pyramid, after that another hour put us back at base camp. Storm clouds could be seen rolling in from the east in the distance. Just as we made the trail head it began to sprinkle lightly. Awesome trip and couldn't have asked for a better summit.
