Ascent Trip Report

This is the obvious high point northeast of Canberra, capital of Australia. Great views of Canberra from the lookout near the top, showing the layout of the city from the perspective that it was designed to be viewed from the top. Included was an explanation of who did that planning, and how the contract was won, along with a map showing landmarks, like the House of Parliment and the museum. It was disappointing that the ice cream stand was closed, but we got to watch a couple buses pull up with high school kids in uniform.
