Ascent Trip Report

Pretty simple. Drove on 1-15 to 18 to 247. Old Woman Springs Road to Camp Rock Road going N. Follow this pipeline road into the mtns. I'd say you definitely want high clearance. Maybe 4WD. It's pretty steep and rocky in spots although much of the road is fine. Just stay N on the pipeline road aka Harrod Road. Take this all the way until NW of the peak and then take other pipeline road going E. This is supposedly the Ord Mtn Road. Map shows as paved....uh...no. Anyway, go E for a bit and then take the other 4WD road going S as it goes up the N ridge. This road goes to the summit but is gated partway up. High clearance. No negative signs at all. Drive this up to the gate at 4600'. No signs at gate. There is also a road down to the mines to the W that is signed but that is not relevant. From gate, just walk road to the summit. At the summit there is a BM over by this weird gray rock and then some rocks a little further out that are higher. That's about it. Cold and windy on this day after the storm.
