Ascent Trip Report

A quick bag while waiting for a visa at the Chinese embassy in Bern. I drove via Zäziwil towards the tiny hamlet of Blase. Just before the road turns left up the final slope to the village, I turned right up a very steep tarmac road which then turned a corner left and became (good quality) dirt. It is possible to drive to within a few hundred meters of the summit but I parked lower down at a junction in the forest (was not sure if I was allowed to go further but found cars at the driveable road end when I walked by). At this point (1090m altitude) there is a break in the forest allowing a good view of the usual Oberland peaks. There is no view from the summit itself. From the viewpoint a faint path runs parallel a few meters left (north) of the main track direct to the summit.
