Ascent Trip ReportLast minute plans to Slide. Wanted to try out our new snowshoes. Trail was very packed down and full of icy footprints. Needed nothing on the way up but went to stablicers on the way down. Used the snowshoes at the summit just to try them out. Views were unlimited and it got very pleasent as the down went on. Overall a great day on the trail and looking foward to finishing up a large amount of the winter 3500 peaks come Dec.
