First traverse of all seven towers (VI 5.8 A1), with Bruce Lella. Also first free ascent of the Rabbit Ears (II 5.9) a pinnacle on the west shoulder of the West Tower. Took a week because of the near constant rain, fog, sleet, snow...typical southeastern weather. The traverse went from west to east, following the crest of the Towers. Ran low on food due to unexpected weather and slow-down, unplanned bivies, lost 25 pounds that week.
