Ascent Trip Report

Pretty straight-forward. Public land. Car passable along the Tacoma Creek Road for quite a while. Finally hit the turnoff for the 625 road to the summit. From here it is high clearance and 4WD is preferable although not necessary under dry conditions. A gate at 4900' has been ripped from the ground so you can drive all the way to the summit. A little rough but no real concerns with not making it. Lookout platform was not locked. Door hanging loose but secured by cable. Interior did not look good. I was surprised that there was no snow and it was near freezing even during the day so that won't last much longer.
