Ascent Trip Report

A very lame high point but also very easy. I-43 cuts through a nice suburban neighborhood, and 124th Street and its overpass mark the county line. The highest natural or semi-natural ground is south of the freeway and (obviously) east of 124th. I touched the bridge abutment areas that were earthy, and climbed a pile of landscaping stones that support the pine tree noted by Gustav Sextauer—it’s in a backyard of a house but you are not visible there. The phone pole in the ditch is likely on ground that still retains its original contour.
