Ascent Trip Report

this one is #8 for the fire tower challenge for me and the second one around the area of long lake, blue Mt, Newcomb and I must say I really like the area I have been there many times before but all ways for work and never could explore the area the Mt was not one of my favorites though very steep for most of the way practically all the way, the trail is a lot of exposed ledge rock kind of cool but slippery when wet this was a very busy trail and a really crowded summit with no real views unless u climb the tower which offers great views in all directions. the dogs were crazy on this one we saw at least 10 dogs on the trail ( and just as many piles "u carry it in you carry it out people" ) then on the drive home we saw a little buck on the side of the road in velvet we stopped and took his picture he was just 10 feet away it was cool we had a great day in the woods and out.
