Ascent of Bryant Peak on 2014-07-20
|Date:||Sunday, July 20, 2014|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||5801 ft / 1768 m|
Ascent Trip ReportWe were hoping the weather would improve. Initially it did, but when we reached the summit we were in the clouds. Instead of following our instinct we wasted some time looking for the climbers trail leading to the base of Bryant. After looking for some time we ended up exactly where we wanted to go up in the first place. At the creek/gulley in-between Bryant and Hemlock (at around 4750 feet) start out by simply taking the left ridge line at the edge of the creek/gulley. From there it is straight forward. We felt this was the easiest way.
