Ascent Trip Report

Day 1 - car to camp in White Chuck basin
10 miles, 8 hours 4800 ascent 1000 descent
Nice trail, no blowdowns, 23 switchbacks to get to White Pass. Followed foam creek trail and ascended ridge, then into basin. Camped on the snow just inside the basin.

Day 2 - camp to summit
12.0 miles, 10 hours 6000 ascent/descent
Navigated high along White Chuck basin east to Glacier Gap. Continue to Gerdine Glacier where we roped up to cross Gerdine Glacier, be careful of rockfall from above. Crossing on the Cool Glacier was generally headed west to the ridge, where we unroped and left the climbing gear behind. At this point the wind really picked up. Finally summit, which was fogged in with no views, very cold and windy.
