Ascent Trip Report

My first Summit. Miller State Park. A short drive from home (35min) Estimate I have hiked Pack 30+ times over the years. Great practice for the bigger hikes, you can do Pack early spring in anticipation of hiking in the Whites.
There is an access road, a weather station and a firetower on the Summit. Expect great views of Boston, Manchester and Nashua NH on clear days. A lot of "Birding" is done from the summit as well. The road is open to the public, so expect crowding on the summit at peak times.
The circuit hike from Pack to Middle and North Pack is a nice half-day hike with some moderate skills needed, but really this hike is easy with some nice flat sections along the way. About 12 miles round trip.
