Ascent Trip Report

Hiking in a slight drizzle, reached wooded summit to a brief moment of sunlight (clouds clearing away with the later day's advance), started into woods between 1383 Gore Rd and Glidden Cemetery at Ben L's wire blocked (posted) road going up past active bee hives, blueberry fields and an hunting camp to a trail junction at a last field and summit's Northwest Slope with open view to Sheepscot Pond; a short wacking weave led past a rock pile (cairn) and seeming highpoint beyond to PB coordinates, descending back to NW Slope and Pond view followed field road straight down onto an official snowmobile trail again reaching Gore Rd, looping along it then back to convenient trail head parking between wood roads (trails).
