Ascent Trip Report

Did Lincoln & Lafayette today w/Nancy , Brian & Baxter......We got to Falling Waters Trailhead around 7:40am & started our hike around 8....We put on microspikes & kept them on all day Snowshoes just went for a ride.....It was cloudy & cool going up but by the time we got to the ridge it was cold & windy....I think we hit gust of 30-40 mph with steady winds 25- 35 mph ...We only saw a few hikers going uo FWT but then saw a couple more on Lafayette ....On our way down we came across quite a few hikers going up....Looks like Greenleaf Hut is getting a make over ...Can't wait to see it when done....We took the Bridle Path down ....We got back to the car at 3pm 7hrs doing the loop ...even tho we had no views it was still a great day ....Thanks Nancy & Brian
