Ascent Trip ReportThis was a great hike with Jaime and Bizz. We started early, before sunrise, and did Tom first. We had a not so great view of our surroundings but was still a nice little peak, minus the post holing. Originally Jaime wanted to do Field, and possibly even Willey after but Bizz didn't sleep and I don't think I was having wisdom tooth or knee complications and we decided to cut it short. We headed back down Tom and then quickly decided to conquer Avalon because it was only a football field away. I wasn't really up for it, so I went into turbo crazy speed to "get it over with" and almost sprinted to the summit. The view was beautiful and filled with snow but made up for he lack of prominence at Tom. We headed back to Route 302 by the Cogway station where we parked and headed home.
