Ascent Trip Report

This was an interesting hike. We started up the canyon figuring we would follow it up towards the summit. About 100 yds up the drainage there is a vertical 40 ft dry waterfall that we had to climb around on the right. From there the route didn't get much easier as we progressed from one drainage to the next and the next. Very rocky with boulders in places. We persevered and finally fought our way through to the summit which had nice views. On the way down we avoided most to the rocky areas by taking more of an eastern track as shown on the GPS track that is attached. One could just follow the ridge all the way from where we parked and stay out of most of the maze of the drainage.
