Ascent Trip Report

2+ miles south of the summit the topo shows a label "Hadden Well" and a corral in the NW corner of Section 10. There is a road junction above the "dd" in "Hadden Well" in the vicinity of which I parked. I left I-40 at Exit 7. On the south side of the freeway I turned east onto Pendleton Road, which is briefly paved and then becomes good gravel and takes the name Camp Rock Road. I followed this, then turned off on the NE trending pipeline road to my parking spot.

At least the NW corner of Section 10 is private property and posted, so the road heading north from point 3807 is not a good option. A passenger car will make it to the pipeline road junction, but you'll probably want high clearance for the half-mile or so to the parking area, or you could walk it.

For the hike, see my GPS track. Basically, head north and pick up the main wash which I followed to about 4000'. From here it's a straightforward walk up to the summit. Note that the summit is on a map with 20-foot contours; the peak is not actually very steep.
