Ascent Trip Report

This is my first repeat ascent to be entered at Peakbagger.com. I joined four friends, Duane Gilliland, Greg Slayden (who owns this website), Edward Earl, and Ken Russell, for whom it was the first ascent. Duane Gilliland has just one climb remaining to complete Washington's county highpoints after this climb. It was a gorgeous day to be in the mountains, with perfect snow conditions all the way from the car (parked at the first impassable snowbank) to the HP and back. The amount of snow on the mountain for this time of year is astounding. Greg and Edward carried and used skis on both the ascent and descent.
