Ascent Trip ReportThis hill is just south of the M62, a minor detour off the Pennine Way, and is the highest point in Calderdale Unitary Authority. I parked at the point where the PW crosses the A672 and followed the easy path south-east to the trig point on White Hill before heading off north-east across the boggy moorland. The summit is an unmarked spot about 100 metres north-west of a fence at about SD 99795 14006. I took a faster, more direct, but wetter route back to the road thus taking full advantage of my choice of wellington boots as footwear.
