Ascent Trip ReportFollowed directions posted by others to George Heck Road to find Mr Bradway. He was very welcoming and gracious in granting permission to cross his property. We chatted for a bit, then I continued on after confirming directions to the tower. I also stopped at the house at the bottom of Sears Road and spoke to Peter. He also allowed me to proceed and told me to park by the tower. I followed the old logging trail out to the field, then walked up the along the southern edge of the field to where the bushwack would begin. I definately recommend doing this in the winter because there were many pricker patches to go through from the edge of the field to the ledges. I made my way through all the prickers, passed the two markers, then went over to the far rock outcropping. That clearly seemed to be the highest of all the rock ledges and outcroppings. I climbed up on top, looked around convinced that I was in fact at the highest point. I waded back through the brush to the field and stopped to look around. It was a beautiful view walking accross the field and although I wouldn't want to do the bushwack in the summer I thought I would love to come back to that spot in the field on a warm summer day.
